A convicted pedophile and high school teacher from Ottawa, Canada had told his psychiatrist, “I’m a demon inside and my subconscious sometimes overrides my conscious mind.”

It was this demon from Bob Clarke’s subconscious that had given him uncontrollable urges to rape young teenage boys at a school he had taught over a two-decade period. Clarke even begged doctors to have his penis cut off to stop his sick behaviors but no one would listen and he was still allowed to teach, and his preference to rape boys.

The travesty does not end there. This sicko only received 2 years in prison for his crimes after he pleaded guilty in March to sexual offences involving 8 former students

CBC News Canada reports:

A former music teacher convicted of sexually abusing students at two Ottawa high schools sought treatment from more than a dozen psychologists and psychiatrists — and even asked to be castrated — all while he continued working with children.

A risk behaviour report filed with the Ontario Court of Justice reveals retired teacher Bob Clarke, now 74, began seeking professional help as far back as 1969.

Clarke taught at a number of Ottawa schools between 1968 and 1992. In March, he pleaded guilty to sex crimes involving eight teenage boys at two high schools, Bell and Sir Robert Borden, during the 1970s, ’80s and ’90s. He’s currently serving a two-year prison sentence.

CBC News has learned Clarke sought treatment over a period spanning 23 years.

Clarke resigned from his teaching position with the board in 1992 after complaints about his behaviour, but “before any decision about termination of his employment could be made.”

Police are concerned there could still be more victims.

Hamer said it takes a lot of courage to come forward.

“I’m hoping that at some point I can have a conversation with this person and say thank you for doing this because it’s not easy,” he said.
